Hop, match, and play—easy setup, big fun!

Hi Reader -

Do your kids have a lot of energy that they really need to burn, but the rainy, muddy, windy, cold spring days are stopping you from heading outside as long as you'd like?

Let's grab some tape and your imagination!

I’ve made it easy for you to play this fun color matching game that can be adjusted to the materials you have in your house.

Not only will your kids love hopping across the colored paths, but they'll learn about colors and grow their mental skills.

All you need for this activity is some colored tape and colored balls, like the ones you find in a ball pit. If you don’t have ball pit balls, you can replace them with any colored items you have, as long as they aren’t dangerous while jumping around. (Socks would be great!)

I've included a few fun twists in the color matching hopping activity post to make this activity long-lasting and exciting, whether you play it indoors or outdoors. I hope that your kids have as much fun as mine did playing it!

Don't expect your child to hold the scissors with their thumb up, or even with one hand. Don't expect straight lines, or even lines at all. Don't expect a lot. Give them the rules -- no running with scissors. Point down when walking with scissors. And scissors are meant for cutting.... and that's it. Notice - I didn't restrict it to...

What do you do when you have a kid that's always super busy? By busy, I mean that they don't like to sit still, they may fidget a bunch, they just have to always be doing something. My kids just bounce -- a lot. Below are some quick ideas that might work to keep your busy kid... well, busy! Keeping Kids Busy...
